Delete Your Data – Bloom
Last Updated: 2026-09-08
1. There is no account to delete
Bloom has no account system. There is no sign-up, no email address, no password, and no profile held on a server. We do not have a copy of your data, so there is nothing on our side for us to delete on your behalf.
Everything the App stores about you — your name, your dates, your setup answers, your Vault messages, your reflections, your checklists, your streak and your readiness results — is held only in the App's private storage on your device. Deleting it is therefore something you do directly, and it takes effect immediately.
2. Erase everything from inside the App
- Open Bloom.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Start over.
- Confirm when prompted.
This erases the entire database, every stored setting, and all scheduled notifications.
This cannot be undone
"Start over" is immediate and permanent. Because there is no cloud backup, nothing can be recovered afterwards — not by you and not by us. If there is anything in your Vault or your reflections you want to keep, copy it somewhere else first.
3. Or uninstall the App
Uninstalling Bloom removes its local database along with it, with the same permanent effect.
4. What this erases
- Your first name and all setup answers (your situation, contact level, goal, and whether you have children).
- Your separation date and every anniversary, birthday, finalisation date and custom date.
- All Vault messages.
- All session reflections and program progress.
- All checklist items, including ones you added yourself.
- Your no-contact streak, best streak, reset history and urge events.
- Your milestone history and dating-readiness results.
- All app settings and every scheduled notification.
5. What we cannot erase from the App
Two categories of record sit with third parties rather than on your device, and are not affected by "Start over":
- Anonymous usage and crash records held by Google (Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics). These contain no name, no dates and nothing you wrote — see our Privacy Policy, Section 3.
- Purchase and subscription records held by RevenueCat, the Apple App Store and Google Play, which those companies retain for accounting, tax and fraud-prevention purposes under their own policies.
If you want to make a request about those records, email us at info@frostskull.com with the subject Data Deletion Request. We will respond within 30 days. Please be aware that these records are not linked to a name, an email address or an account, so we may be unable to identify which records are yours — where that is the case we will tell you, rather than delete someone else's data.
6. Erasing your data does not cancel your subscription
Important: "Start over" and uninstalling both leave an active subscription running, and it will keep renewing. Your subscription is billed and managed entirely by Apple or Google. To cancel it:
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Bloom → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Bloom → Cancel
Cancel before or immediately after erasing your data if you do not intend to keep using the App. The reverse also holds: cancelling your subscription does not erase anything from your device — your data stays there until you remove it.
7. Your rights
Under the EU GDPR and similar laws elsewhere, you may have a right to erasure of your personal data. For everything on your device you can exercise that right yourself, instantly, using Section 2. For anything else, use the contact address below. If you are unsatisfied with our response and are in Sweden, you may complain to Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY); elsewhere in the EU or UK, to your national data protection authority.
